Process

  • Once the Executive approves the business case the project sponsor appoints the project manager.
  • The project manager must arrange and conduct (PDW)
  • During the PDW, the Project Manager starts to develop the high-level project plan using a Work Breakdown Structure or Mind-Map.
  • While developing the project schedule the Project Manager will begin to build the Scope Statement.
  • The Project Manager will submit the plan to the Steering Committee identified during the PDW.
  • Once the Scope statement is approved, the Project Manager will set the baseline of the project schedule and work can commence on the project.
